The Guava (Psidium guajava L.) tree belonging to the Myrtaceae family is mainly found in tropical areas like India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc. Its unique nutritional profile offers diverse medicinal properties. NaturMed Scientific has complete control over the procurement, manufacturing, and supply of Guava extracts. We have collaborated with the local producers in India and are involved in the entire cultivation process. The production processes include seed selection, plantation, growing, and harvest. The guava fruits are carefully selected, hand-picked, gently processed, and regularly tested in international laboratories to ensure quality. Our partners are working hard to achieve our eco-effectiveness goals on the ground at all of our facilities through rigorous waste reduction, recycling, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
Organic Processes
NaturMed Scientific aims to provide the best quality botanical ingredients to its customers. A high-quality product, in our perspective, is pure, effective, and made in an ecologically responsible and ethical manner. To do this, we are devoted to the following herb-growing practices:
Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
IPM provides a more effective, environment-friendly approach to pest prevention. It involves using pesticides only when needed and integrates multiple control methods by obtaining site information through regular inspection, monitoring, and reporting.
Integrated Weed Management (IWM)
Like pest management, it also involves using multiple control methods to allow farmers the best chance to control troublesome weeds. This is important as weeds negatively impact crop yields.
Use of certified organic fertilizers
Using certified organic fertilizers is the most effective way to encourage healthy growth and increase production. They don’t contaminate nearby lands and help improve soil structure.
